Dropbox呈請美政府 公開索取用戶資料數字 Sep 30th 2013, 09:28, by 方鈺鈞 圖: Dropbox網站 愈來愈多網絡公司發表《資訊透明報告》，向網民交待政府向它們索取用戶資料的數字，Dropbox亦不例外。斯諾登事年後，各大互聯網巨擘似乎刻意和政府劃清界線，希望重新爭取公眾的信任，維護公司聲譽。最近，Dropbox更加入微軟、谷歌、Facebook和雅虎行列，要求政府准許公布國家安全法下向其索取個人資料的宗數，以及牽涉的用戶數字。 現時，Dropbox不准公布國家安全局(NSA) 索取用戶資料的準確數字。惟一透露個案的方法是結合NSA和其他司法機關的申請數字，再把它化成最準確至千位的數字。Dropbox稱，2012年，它收到不足100宗正常司法機關的申請，若按照政府規定，發布的資料會變成「1-1000」，削弱透明度。 Dropbox 遂向外國情報監視法庭(Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, Fisa Court) 提出呈請，認為它有權公布精確數字，把公眾蒙在鼓裡並不是保護國家安全。 現時美國沒有任何公司可以公開國家安全為由而索取的用戶資料數據，Dropbox成為最新一間互聯網服務公司加入向政府施壓。 相關文章： 雲端之下有秘密？ Guardian: Dropbox joins tech giants in quest to publish government user data requests Redorbit: Dropbox Joins Major Tech Firms In Push To Disclose Government Data Requests
