對一代偉人Nelson Mandela的回憶 Dec 5th 2013, 23:39, by tin_the_fatty （圖片作者South Africa The Good News, CC Attribution 2.0 License，從維基百科取得） Nelson Mandela在十二月五日晚當地時間約八時五十分在約翰內斯堡的寓所安祥去世，享年95歲。 對Mandela我印像是非常深刻。那年我是大二，與幾個同科同學一起在倫敦西北面叫Willlesden Green的地方合租了一間兩層高的排屋住。在一個懶洋洋的星期日下午，我坐在客廳，看著電視，喝著Harvey's Bristol Cream甜些里酒（那年在那間屋子裡差不多共喝了三、四十瓶，吉樽全放在廚房，房東來時嚇了一跳，可惜不收按樽）。我已經記不起當時是在看著甚麼節目（這個不重要），突然BBC Breaking News就拍著Nelson Mandela離開監獄，電視旁白"Nelson Mandela, in prison for 27 years, now a free man." 緊接著八九年夏天的無奈，這個絕對是一個令人振奮的好消息，我斟滿了酒杯，乾了杯中的酒。 Nelson已離開了這個世界，而我亦感到我自己的一部份，隨他而去。有甚麼比乾一杯酒更能記念Nelson？我將會用一支應該不錯的十年Port代替在香港已經頗難找的Harvey's。Cheers, Nelson! 也讓我試試說一個笑話。 What's the difference between a pigeon and Winnie Mandela? 鴿子和Winnie Mandela*有甚麼不同？ *Nelson在獄中時的妻子，後期名聲十分差，1992年離婚 A pigeon gets to sit on Nelson's Column. 鴿子可以坐在納爾遜紀念柱**之上。 **在倫敦市中心的特拉法加廣場，記念Lord Nelson，打敗拿破倫的英國海軍上將。語帶相關指Nelson Mandela的洋具，因Nelson在獄中而與Winnie無緣。 Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, 1918-2013, RIP. 生榮死哀。
